Good news bad news in the world of Windows operating systems.
Windows Operating Systems Service Announcement
The bad news is Microsoft ended Windows XP support in April 2014 for software updates.
The good news is that any business that has switched over or plans to switch in the near future to using Windows 7 or Windows 8 operating systems for their network file servers, are network compatible with industry-standard TCP/IP protocol with California Software Systems new graphics software products. California Software Systems older products were based on using the NetBEUI protocol which did require installing the NetBEUI protocol on Windows XP systems in order to interface to the drill room computers. Upgrades are now available for older California Software Systems products. The new California Software Systems products are designed and built using the TCP/IP protocol. This new upgrade makes it very easy for network administrators to handle adding additional computers to the server.
Contact California Software Systems today to upgrade or have your drill room setup for our newest graphical interface system.
